"As a leader, you have to hold it together and show strength."
"By having compassion and having love, you can conquer the world."
The bravery of this woman is magnificent. This video is inspiring because it is proof that being brave and standing up for what you believe in will pay off in the end. It could have been so easy for her to give up and stay in America, but she didn't take no for an answer. She impacted so many lives, and she made her students teachers to keep the process going. I feel like this video will help me in my teaching career by reminding me to never give up.

Video Reflection 2: How to fix a broken school? Lead fearlessly, love hard
"If you're going to lead, lead."
"So what? Now what? What are we going to do about it?"
"If nobody told you they loved you today, you remember I do, and I always will."
This video moved me. This really opened my eyes to the hardships that some students and educators face. I feel that it is easy to take what we have for granted. They took what little they had and built it from the ground up. If this isn't proof that overcoming hardships is possible, then I don't know what is. This video will help me in the future career by reminding me that anything is possible and that I must never take no for an answer.

Video Reflection 1: Every Kid Needs a Champion
"Kids don't learn from people they don't like."
"No significant learning can occur without a significant relationship."
To be an effective educator, you must make connections to your students. This video is very inspiring to me because it reminds us as educators that before we can teach our students, we have to reach our students. As educators, we are born to make a difference. I feel that this video will help me become a better classroom teacher because it has opened my eyes to see everything that being an effective educator entails.
